DescriptionDescriptionFrom the most respected name in exotic high-end audio. The Kondo KSL-M7 is for the ultimate connoisseur. This one has the phono stage built-in. All Kondo phono stages are low-gain only, suitable for use with MM and high-output MC cartridges. It is impossible to design a high-gain phono stage with noise floor low enough to meet their exacting standards. According to Kondo, you should use a step-up transformer together with a low-gain phono stage if you have a low-output cartridge. It is in beautiful condition and comes with its original box. All tubes test strong on our Hickok 600A tube tester. I sold this KSL-M7 originally. This KSL-M7 was made in 2006.Working condition: very goodWhat's included: original boxfrom 9918.info

DescriptionFor your consideration a very nice, fully tested, great sounding preamplifier from Marants, the illustrious 7-c, according to many the best-sounding tube preamplifier in vintage American audio. The Rolls Royce of tube preamps. This one is in mint condition, all lettering intact, zero rust anywhere, no oxydation or pitting, acorn nuts, all knobs original, all original tube shields.. Unlike most tube preamps of that era, this one does not hum. Just splendid. Only cosmetci issue: top plate (inside woodcase as a few paint scratches. I suppose that top plate could be repainted, but I'd rather leacve that to the next owner. Minor issue as original woodcase is in very nice condition. All original parts, all orginal circuitry, all Bumble Bee caps in place.Power light comes on, all fundtions work properly, phono section also tested A+. All pots and switches operate noiselessly. Only the volume pot has very minimal scratches in one channel only, and from about 1 pm to 5 pm or so ( in other words only in the loudest section of its rotation. Very minor, but I thought I'd mention it. Individual channel volume oputput pots on rear also work fine.Tubes are four Telfunken (diamond on bottom) and two Amperex one labeled Bugle boy, one labeled Eico made in Holand but with identical factory provenance as Bugle Boy.Also included: reprints of original owner's manual, of the 11-page service manual, schematics, a vintage review.

Description PAIR OF MC 501 MONO BLOCK AMPLIFIERS The McIntosh MC 501 mono block power amplifier is powerful, smooth, detailed, and rich. EACH AMP deliver 500 watts into 2, 4, or 8 Ohms with less than 0.005% distortion! It features McIntosh's fully balanced Quad-Differential circuitry that is balanced from input to output and virtually cancels out ALL distortion. Other features include: Patented Autoformer that account for both the richness and musicality of the amp's sound and allow the amplifier to run continuously into very low impedances (as is often demanded by large Electrostatic speaker systems); Power Guard- that prevents amplifier clipping, thus protecting your valuable speakers; Sentry Monitor with Thermal Protection- guaranteeing a long, trouble free operating life; Power control- that allows for remote turn on/off via a mini mono to mono power control cable. The amplifier also has both single-ended (RCA) and Balanced (XLR) connections and beautiful gold plated multiway binding posts that provide incredible flexibility in connecting different types/brands of speaker wire. The beautiful blue meter provides both stunning looks and functionality. The meter is extremely fast and can be set to "peak hold" to give an average top output level, standard continuous level, or off if desired (as when watching a movie on an A/V system). The meter and front panel lighting are LED driven, so there are no light bulbs to replace, ever! I purchased three of these wonderful amps to run the 3 front speakers in a large A/V system, two of which are is listed in this add. The serial numbers are: UM1371 and UM 1372. I purchased these amps new and they are in new condition. The amps come in their original factory cartons with an owner's manual and power cord.

SPECIFICATION AND DESCRIPTIONDescriptionPhotographs are of the actual mic and power supply, and are not from the catalogue or website. Mint, like new condition - less than a year old, bought in March 2008. The unit has been impeccably cared for, used exclusively by me in my private, smoke free, project studio. The VF14k tube was replaced new last summer, by Telefunken USA, and has only been used a few hours since then. Comes with the vintage style flight case. I'll pay shipping and insurance. US only.Since its original development in 1946, the ubiquitous TELEFUNKEN U 47 has been the microphone of choice for generations of recording professionals. The first condenser microphone to offer selectable polar patterns, the U 47 is instantly recognizable. From Frank Sinatra to the Beatles, the sonic performance of the U 47 is legendary as a vocal microphone. Huge presence, with an extended frequency response that is extraordinary on any signal source, the U 47 has been a classic sonic benchmark for over 60 years. The original manufacturers chose the TELEFUNKEN VF14 vacuum tube for use in the U 47 in 1946. Unfortunately, manufacturing of the VF14 ceased in 1939, and these tubes are impossible to source in quantity today. Beginning in 1962, Neumann offered a Nuvistor replacement kit for the VF14, which, while it was fully functional, produced a sonic response that was not as desirable as that of the original VF14 and required minor modification to the original circuit.TELEFUNKEN | USA has gone to great lengths to offer a comparable substitute for the VF14 that preserve the original sonic response. Our custom made VF14k vacuum tube, utilized in the U47AE, is made to directly replace the original VF14 in the U47 circuit. It offers equal sonic performance to the VF14, and fits into the original tube socket with no modifications required to the original circuit.Type Condenser Pressure GradientCapsule M7 - dual sided gold sputtered center terminatedFrequency Range 20Hz / 20kHzPolar Pattern Cardioid and OmniSensitivity approx 1.2 mvolts per dyne / cm sq
